About Headcount

What it is

Headcount is a nightly party game for your phone's browser. You walk through five rooms of a house party and guess how the other guests answered a question in each one. A new party opens every night at 11 PM Eastern.

Who makes it

One person. Headcount started in October 2026 as a game for a group of friends, and opened to everyone a few days later. It's still made and run by that one person.

Where the answers come from

From the players. Before you leave each night, you answer one question in the guestbook, and the next night's rooms are built from those answers. Nothing is made up: the crowd you're guessing is the real crowd from the night before.

How it stays free

Headcount is free, with nothing to buy and nothing to download. One ad after you finish helps pay for the servers. The privacy page says exactly what the game keeps and what the ad does.
